As a listener who enjoyed the hobby of receiving and identifying distant radio signals, I also enjoyed collecting QSL (‘DXing’) cards from all over the world, and now I am in the process of liquidating my collection consisting of US and Foreign as well as special-interest QSLs. (My hobby evolved first into Amateur (Ham) Radio, and then into commercial broadcasting as a ‘DJ’ in high school and college.) DXing is the hobby of receiving and identifying distant radio or television signals, or making two way radio contact with distant stations in amateur radio, citizens’ band radio or other two way radio communications.
